First of all, we succesfully integrated Javascript, Asp.Net Server Controls and Microsoft Ajax Framework together. You just develop a simple user control (ascx) as you do usual. Don't worry about ViewState, don't worry about security and don't worry about your control's page lifecycle.

Other asp.net widget frameworks simply gets html from an Asp.Net application. ViewState and Asp.Net Server Controls are not (or limited) supported by these frameworks. Try to put two data grids and you will get an unsupported error message.
